Lakeside Haven
This residential project introduces a modern, eco-friendly single-family house located on a serene plot near a picturesque lake. The design prioritizes sustainability and innovative architecture, creating a harmonious blend of natural beauty and contemporary living.

The decision to rotate the second floor by 90 degrees was driven by the desire to maximize natural light and views. By aligning the second floor perpendicular to the first, the design allows for larger windows on both levels, ensuring that each room benefits from optimal sunlight throughout the day. This orientation also creates shaded areas on the lower floor, reducing the need for artificial cooling and enhancing the home’s energy efficiency.

The house employs sustainable materials and construction techniques to minimize its environmental impact. Locally sourced wood is used extensively for the exterior cladding and interior finishes, providing a warm, natural aesthetic while supporting local industries. The structure incorporates reinforced concrete and steel for stability and durability, ensuring the home withstands the test of time.
